Cinematic turns and polymath grooves. Edition 262 arcs through Anatolian fuzz and Arabic psychedelia, smoky British jazz, and widescreen global funk. From Tortoise’s hypnotic return and Orchestra Gold’s deep trance to Silas Hite’s library-styled vignette and Jaubi’s modal improvisation, the set moves like film - layered, textural, and alive with motion.

Anchoring it all are four new singles from Makaya McCraven - dropped simultaneously across four EPs - spanning hip-hop swing, cosmic funk, and shadowy soundscapes with collaborators Theon Cross and Jeff Parker. Elsewhere, Little Simz offers poignant brevity, Thundercat resurfaces in multiple guises, and Antibalas stretches into Afrobeat eternity.
